Gastrointestinal Fibrescope - Olympus GIF-E

The GIF-E combines the very best of everything required of a routine gastrointestinal fibrescope. A top quality optics system provides excellent images for both diagnosis and treatment. Insertion is less traumatic for the patient thanks to a slim outer diameter, which nevertheless houses a wide 2.8mm instrument channel to facilitate therapeutic procedures with standard accessories.

A design which can be easily and effectively cleaned and disinfected by total immersion in disinfectant solutions where necessary maximises patient and operator safety by minimising the risk of cross-infection. When conditions limit selection to just one basic, all-purpose gastrointestinal fibrescope, the versatile, highly reliable high performance, practical but excellent Olympus GIF-E is the only sensible choice.

Bronchofibrescope - Olympus BF Type PE

• Option to connect eyepiece easily to external camera
  BF type PE has a rigid endoscope eyepiece to facilitate connection to the Olympus TV camera system to observe the image on a large screen monitor
• Any Olympus light source unit can be used
• Excellent Optical Performance
  The objective lens has a 100 degree wide view. A high resolution image guide has been adopted and a bright large image can be observed at every place in the field of view.
• Can cope with various treatments
  As the Type PE has 2.2mm of inner channel diameter, it facilitates various bronchial treatments. One biopsey forcep is provided as a standard accessory.
• Greater range of tip bending makes for excellent insertion
  The range of tip bending is 180 degrees upward and 100 degrees downward. It has excellent insertion within the tight confines of the tracheobronchial tree and orientation is easier.
• Instrument channel port is located at the lower portion of the control section
  The forceps can be operated easily and liquid does not splash on the eyes.
• Excellent cleaning and sterilisation capabilities
  To clean the whole scope, it is possible to immerse it in liquid, so cleaning and disinfection are easy and safe.
